Free HTTPS Checker
Check whether this page loads over HTTPS and whether common secure-connection settings are in place — without a penetration test.
What is HTTPS?
An HTTPS checker verifies that the page address uses a secure connection (https://), that plain http:// visits are redirected, that HSTS is present when appropriate, and that resources are not mixed between http and https.
Why it matters
Browsers warn on non-HTTPS pages, and mixed content can break or weaken the connection. HTTPS is the baseline for forms, cookies, and trust.
Common problems
- Page still loads over plain http://
- No redirect from http:// to https://
- HSTS header missing
- Mixed content (http assets on an https page)
- Cookie without Secure flag
How to fix them
Enable TLS on the server or CDN, force https:// redirects, add Strict-Transport-Security once the whole site works on https, then fix any remaining http:// asset URLs.
Example
Example: https://example.com works but http://example.com does not redirect → visitors and bots may land on the insecure address.
FAQ
Is this a penetration test?
No. Basic automated secure-connection configuration checks only.
Does a valid certificate mean the site is secure?
HTTPS protects the connection. Other configuration issues may still exist — this tool lists what it detected, not a full audit.
Is it free?
Yes — free, no signup.
