How it works

How SlowCheck checks a page

Six steps from the URL you paste to a plain-English report — usually 15–30 seconds, up to 60s for heavy pages. No account, no email, no AI-generated guesses.

1. Enter a public URL

Paste the exact page you care about — product page, blog post, landing page. Public HTTP(S) addresses only.

2. SlowCheck loads and checks that page

The scan targets one URL. Private networks and local addresses are blocked. Rate limits protect the service.

3. Measurements are collected

  • Direct measurements — response codes, file sizes, compression, cache headers, redirects.
  • PageSpeed / Core Web Vitals — used when available for performance metrics (LCP, TTFB, and related values); the report says so when they were not available.
  • Server-side checks — HTML structure, titles, meta tags, security headers, and other configuration signals.

4. Relevant checks run

Focused tool pages run only the checks for that mode (for example SEO-only or speed-only). The homepage, website checker and website audit run all three reports together — 17 speed, 11 security, and 16 SEO & page-health checks in one scan.

5. Results are explained

Each finding shows severity, why it matters, measured evidence when we have it, and a concrete fix — not just a score.

6. You get actionable recommendations

Copy a developer summary, download the data, or re-check after you deploy a fix.

What we do not do

  • No AI analysis or invented measurements.
  • No penetration testing or claims that a site is “secure.”
  • No full-site crawl — one page at a time.
  • No ranking guarantees.
